This boat has done everything I've asked of it with ease and brought me home safe even on a few days I probably shouldn't have been offshore. With a huge 160 gallon tank (2005-2006 only) and V8 power (270hp) the Volvo Penta 5.0 GXI paired with the famous Duo-Prop on a deep V hull makes quick work of most conditions experienced in the SF Bay and out the Gate with range to spare. Fiberglass hull and transom eliminates concerns around wood rot. Boat gets on plane promptly, cruises comfortably at 30 knots, and tops out at around 40 knots. k spent earlier this year alone on a repower, completely rebuilt 5.0 GXI (bored .30 over, new rings/pistons, heads, water pumps, exhaust manifolds upper/lower, cap, rotor, plugs, injectors seals, freeze plugs, starter, flex plate, pan, thermostat housing / thermostat, motor mounts etc.) coupled to a brand-new DP-SM outdrive and rams all installed by Helmuts Marine. Also added a new Garmin 10\" chart plotter GPSmap XSV and transducer. Boat comes with an AirDock and a tandem axle DHM trailer for fish you need to drive first to get to. I see there are a few local nice Stripers for sale, but this is the only one with a fresh rebuilt motor and brand-new duo-prop outdrive with stainless props. Why pay close to same money for something you could have to rebuild at any point when you can have the confidence of new... AND you get an AirDock, no more launch ramps if you plan to slip this boat and no need for bottom paint... it's a life changer not having to worry about busy launch ramps anymore when the bite is hot.<br>\nSea trials for cash in hand serious buyers only, have Pink/Title in hand.<br>\n<br>\nTight Lines...
