\nThis is a very rare boat, and it's like nothing else in the world. It's a one of one. This boat has been owned by my family for years and was completely redone from trailer to bimini by the best in 2020. It's a 1988 21' Rogers VIP river boat.
\n
\nRodgers was one of the premier manufacturers of boats in the 70's and 80's. The company was a game changer in hull design and they made some of the fastest drag boats and best riding boats in the business. They set out to create a cruiser hull that would ride smooth on the water and cut through wakes like nothing made before. The \"VIP\" was Roger's creation. They nailed it and one ride in the chop will show you why the design was copied for years to come.

\nIf you are looking for a FAST open bow cruiser with style that cant be matched, This is for you. The boat tops 70 mph if you dare. The sound and tone of the LS engine always gets a second look.
\nAll the information about the boat is listed below. Our is significantly less then the parts alone invested not to mention the labor. We have over 1600 hours into the boat, and way more money invested then we are asking.

\nPlease read below as I try and remember all the things done to the boat.
\n
\nEXTERIOR:
\nThis is the original gelcoat colors. The boat has never been painted.
\nThe entire exterior was wet sanded and triple polished to the shine you see in the pictures.
\nThe original window design was replaced with the forward lean smoked ones you see in the pictures.
\nAll the exterior trim was removed, & powder coated. All new rubbers were installed in the bumpers, etc, etc.
\nSplit swim decks. All of the support brackets were removed and powder coated. All the stainless hardware was replaced.
\nThe swim decks have an addition \"spring down\" step. Simply fold down the step and get a extra 16\" lower step.
\nThe OMC Cobra outdrive was repainted in original colors. 2 stage paint.
\nThrough transom 4\" stainless exhaust was added.
\nAll tie down points, fuel caps, and vents were all removed and polished. All the hardware was replaced with stainless.
\nThe bottom front of the boat has a keel guard to keep the hull like new.
\nThe Boat #'s are painted and not decals.
\nUpgraded screw style boat drain valve with backflow preventer.
\nCustom suction cup LED spot light for night use. \"very brite\"

\nINTERIOR:
\nThe interior was completely redone to make it more modern and comfortable.
\nALL of the interior wood was removed, sanded, recoated and glassed to last another 30+ years.
\nThe top of the rear engine cover was lowered 5\" for visibility and looks. It was recoated in fiberglass.
\nThe entire interior was redone with all new foam. All the colors chosen match the original 1988 colors used.
\nThe upholstery has leg bolsters, french seams, and multiple colors throughout. As you can see its very tastefull!
\nA Hawk eye digital depth gauge and sensor was added.
\nNew billet steering wheel
\nAll the gauges were redone and a new matching tachometer was installed for the high revving LSX engine.
\nAll the handles, gauge bezels, switch bezels, cup holders, etc were all removed and powder coated.
\nNew OMC control handle assembly.
\nHidden folding cup holders were added throughout the interior. I believe there are 6 additional.
\nMUSIC! The sound system is top of the line and mostly hidden.
\nPowered by a 1300 watt 5 channel amplifier, the entire system runs off bluetooth to a phone or tablet.
\n(8) JBL 6x9 speakers. Clean crisp highs and mid base
\n1- 12\" Rockford Fosgate Punch subwoofer under the drivers cockpit.
\nAdjustable gain for the Subwoofer at your fingertips.
\nNew sump pump and blower fans
\ndual batteries in boxes with dual battery switch.
\nMatching original 1988 Bimini top.

\n535HP LSX engine conversion
\nComplete LS 364 cu. In. short block.
\n11.25 to 1 engine compression
\nMelling oil pump
\nnew LS 243 heads shaved .30 with 2.0 In. intake valves.
\nFull trunion bearing upgrade in the rocker arms.
\nChromoly pushrods.
\nCometic .40 head gaskets.
\nMild Comp cam's cam so there was no water inversion. 275 int./283 exh. This is a torque motor.
\nHolley mid rise LS intake for a carburetor
\nEdelbrock 1412 800 CFM carburetor. Currently tuned for 500' elevation. Comes with a jetting kit.
\nMSD 6014 programmable ignition system
\nPower master high torque starter
\nSki Nautique water cooled exhaust manifolds.
\n3\" to 4\" water cooled transom exhaust
\nComes with a complete fresh water system with heat exchanger that I never installed.
\nThis boat has only been in fresh water!

\nnew adjustment cables.
\nAll adjustment tools are included.
\nOEM manual included.
\nAll repainted in OEM colors and clear coated.
\nNew impeller kit 2022 and also have a new spare.
\nStainless 3 blade prop.
\nThis boat could do higher top speeds with a larger prop. It will do over 70 now and its scary. I decided to leave the current prop and keep it reliable.

\nTRAILER:
\nCompetitive triple axle trailer.
\nBunks were re carpeted.
\nChrome 15\" wheels
\nnewer tires installed in 2021.
\nThe trailer was updated with a crank winch and stop on front to make loading the boat simpler. It also helped to keep the front from bobbing while towing down the road.
\nSwing away trailer jack on a wheel for simple moving.
\nCustom spare tire mount on the front with matching spare.
