It is in excellent shape, ready to fish today, with all maintenance performed, upgraded with a real anchor, electric anchor winch, solar charging, new cabin &amp; mooring covers, galvanized trailer with disc brakes &amp; electric winch, plus more.<br>\n<br>\nWe are only selling it because we don’t use it as much as we expected.<br>\n<br>\nMAIN ENGINE:  Mercruiser 3.0L with new plugs, wires and EST Electronic Ignition Distributor and Coil Upgrade Kit (no changing of points).  Runs great.  It is the most economical of the Mercruiser engines.  With the price of gas these days, that is very much appreciated.  <br>\n<br>\nOUTDRIVE:  Alpha I with new water pump and new propeller as of 10/22/2022.<br>\n<br>\nKICKER / TROLLING OUTBOARD MOTOR:  Honda BFP8 Power Thrust 8HP with electric and manual start.  Runs great.  New thermostat and water pump.  Has an EZ-Steer System (https://ezsteer.com), allowing you to steer the outboard engine from the boat’s main steering wheel.<br>\n<br>\nANCHOR WITH ELECTRIC WINCH:  This boat has a real anchoring solution with an EX-3 HERO Direct Drive Drum Anchor Winch (https://www.ezanchorpuller.com/products/hero-3-aluminum-alloy-direct-drive-drum-anchor-winch-for-boats-to-27) with 250' of 3/8\" nylon spliced to 15' of galvanized chain connected to a 13 lb. You will have no trouble anchoring in the Columbia River with this setup.<br>\nHow many Starcraft Islanders have you seen with a good anchoring system?  Most don’t have any real solution and those that do, usually have something that insufficient.  <br>\n<br>\nMooring cover and cabin curtains (to allow you to enclose the cabin during the cold) are new as of 2022.  Also has a bimini top for the front and rear areas.<br>\n<br>\nSolar power to keep the batteries charged (no need to connect to electricity). Even a fisherman friend of mine that has the popular Folbe rod holders, said he liked mine better after using them.<br>\n<br>\nDOWN RIGGERS:  2 Scotty telescopic manual down riggers<br>\n<br>\nELECTRONICS:  Garmin GPS map 3205 plotter, Lowrance Elite 4 fish finder, Icom IC-M302 VHF Radio<br>\n<br>\nTRAILER:  Calkins galvanized double axle trailer with disc brakes and Titan surge brake coupler.  Pictures of the current trailer are shown without the boat.  Tires are practically new, with very minimal wear.   <br>\nIt has a Strongarm SA5000DC electric winch (https://www.dutton-lainson.com/proddetail.php?prod=25500) that makes it super easy to get the boat on the trailer with no cranking by hand.  It does have a backup handle if you ever need to manually bring in the boat.<br>\n<br>\nNote that the picture of the boat on the trailer was my only photo of the boat out of the water.  It was an earlier photo before the trailer was replaced with the Calkins.  It also didn't have the anchor or solar power at that time.<br>\n<br>\nMy fisherman friend calls this boat a luxury salmon fishing boat.
