This is the heavy duty government commercial hull Whaler. I purchased it 10 years ago from the Colorado Park Service.  It was a freshwater only used boat and was repowered just before I purchased it with a new Yamaha 150 hp, 2 stroke outboard motor.  The motor only had 200 hours on it at the time of purchase and is spotless (no saltwater use)! The previous motor was the original 1986 Johnson 150, which had 1000 hours which they also included, and was sold for parts.  The hull is very solid with no visible hull damage and is a very dry hull that floats like a cork. The gelcoat has visible spider cracks in the gelcoat surface layer, which are cosmetic and does not impact the fiberglass underneath.  This is a very sturdy, “red dot” hull that was built with thicker fiberglass for commercial use by law enforcement, military or government agencies.  It is very stable and is unsinkable.  The boat has been in storage since I obtained it in 2014, at which time I replaced the water pump and plugs and it was winterized in perfect running condition and with nice even compression. It has not been used since. The internal fuel tank was in good condition and emptied at the time of storage.  The motor will need to be serviced and probably will need a new water pump again since it’s been sitting so long. I replaced the starting battery (there is a dual battery switch to add a second one). The motor turns over good when the key is turned but I have not started it as it is still winterized.  I am selling it “as is” for about what I have in it at this point so I am pretty firm on the price.  It is on a nice freshwater trailer which was towed out from Colorado with no issues and includes a spare tire.
