This is a great opportunity for someone. I bought this boat at the end of May, in LaConner. I intended to sail it from Puget Sound to Lewiston, Idaho. I have done this before in a Pearson Ariel, but this boat is just a bit too big for me, I'm 80 and have to admit that this was a little more than I want to handle alone. I have done huge amounts of work on this boat  and have added many features. The bones are good, the boat is strong. It has a  Yanmar 3GM30F 3 cylinder diesel engine that runs well, the sails are in good condition, a large genoa on a Harken roller furler, good mainsail with two reefs, a \"storm jib\" which seems to be a smaller jib, it is virtually brand new, I have never unpacked it. I have added a brand new Raymarine st2000 tiller pilot, a Garmen combination chart plotter/fishfinder, AIS transponder, new 4D house battery, it has a Force 10 Marine diesel heater, a gimbled 3 burner propane Hiller Range with oven, hand held VHFradio, Alpine stereo with KLH speakers, two 100 Amp solar panels with controller, ProNautic 12-40P battery controller, large refrigerated 'ice box', pressurized water system, 6 gallon water heater  (110 AC/engine heat), the head has a shower. There is 6' 4\" headroom below, the cockpit is 9' long, lots of storage space, large galley area. Great live aboard for a couple. The shallow draft (3' 9\", with centerboard up, with centerboard down, 7' 6\") let's you go where deeper draft boats cannot. The design was based on the classic Alberg 35. It was Pearson's most successful boat, with around 600 produced.<br>\n<br>\nNovember 6th I will store the boat on the hard here in Anacortes for the winter.
